SINGAPORE: Based in Cologne in Germany, Adentatec is a global dental company that specialises in the production and distribution of non-precious dental alloys on cobalt–chromium and nickel–chromium bases, as well as CAD/CAM discs on cobalt–chromium and titanium bases. This weekend, Adentatec has its high-quality products on display for the Asia Pacific market at IDEM Singapore.
From its beginnings over 20 years ago, the main focus of the company was the distribution of sandblasting material and plaster to dental laboratories across Germany. Its portfolio still includes plaster, investment material and sandblasting material. In 2003, Adentatec began production of dental alloys and implemented a quality management system. Almost ten years ago, the product range was expanded to CAD/CAM discs on a cobalt–chromium base (System NE-Blank and System Soft-Blank). These discs are available in different diameters and heights and can be used for all open milling systems. Among the main features of the discs are their high corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. Furthermore, the discs are soft and homogeneous, have very good milling properties, and owing to the strong oxide they contain, provide strong metal–ceramic bonding abilities. In 2012, the CAD/CAM portfolio was extended with System Ti 5-Blank, a disc with a Grade IV titanium base.
Before market launch, Adentatec’s products undergo biocompatibility and corrosion resistance tests, among others. Furthermore, the company only uses high-quality raw materials to ensure a consistent quality.
Over the last ten years, Adentatec’s export business has increased steadily and the company now has more than 20 dealers worldwide representing its product range and promoting its focus on customer-oriented service. Its sales representatives regularly attend dental exhibitions all over the world, such as IDEM Singapore, in order to keep in touch with customers and to engage with prospective customers face to face. Adentatec is inviting IDEM attendees to visit its booth (4J-10) from 13 to 15 April.
