PARIS, France: Today, the Congrès de l’ADF, the annual meeting of the French Dental Association (ADF), officially began. The event continues through to Saturday, promising five packed days of education, networking and exploration of the latest advancements in dental technology. Being held at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, this premier event in European dentistry is set to bring together over 25,000 oral health professionals, including dentists, dental assistants and dental technicians, who will have the opportunity to engage with 400 renowned speakers in more than 100 lectures, workshops and live clinical demonstrations.
This year, the conference comprises 21 international sessions, including 11 in English. The appealing and relevant topics to be addressed, aligned with the latest trends, will offer valuable insights for dental professionals from all specialties. Highly reputed speakers from around the globe, such as Prof. Anton Sculean, a distinguished leader in periodontal research from the University of Bern in Switzerland, and Prof. Daniele Manfredini, a respected expert in temporomandibular joint disorders and bruxism from the University of Siena in Italy, bring their expertise to the event. The impressive roster of experts will provide attendees with practical, evidence-based solutions for modern dentistry. Dr Nicolas Lehmann, Congrès ADF 2024 scientific director, described these sessions as “a golden ticket to an immersive experience in the latest trends and breakthroughs” set against the vibrant backdrop of Paris.
Coinciding with the conference, the ADF exhibition will open tomorrow and continue through to Saturday. Organised in collaboration with Comident, the French dental trade and industry association, this year’s exhibition spans 12,830 m2 over four levels, featuring 300 exhibitors from around the world who are presenting and demonstrating the latest in dental equipment, technologies and solutions. Exhibitors include not only industry leaders but also innovative start-ups, and the exhibition offers dental professionals a hands-on opportunity to explore and compare new tools and technologies. Admission to the exhibition is free of charge, although prior online registration is required.
