POZNAŃ, Poland: Central European Dental Exhibition (CEDE) is one of eastern Europe’s most exciting dental exhibitions. From 20 to 22 September, companies from across the continent and the world will convene to showcase the latest developments in dentistry. Additionally, for the second consecutive time, the event is running alongside the Polish Dentistry Union Congress.
Themed “More than an exhibition”, CEDE 2018 marks the 27th event, which again this year boasts diversity of speakers and participating companies, according to the organisers. Focusing on the inseparable connection that exists between science and business, the scientific programme features lecturers such as Drs Jan B. Ahlqvist, Diego Lops, Miguel Roig, Carlos Fernandez Villares, Ezio Gheno, Angelo Trödhan, Gian Battista Greco, Hande Şar Sancaklı, Joseph Shapira and Hal Stewart.
Besides the presentations, there will be a number of workshops, including how to work with patients with disabilities, as well as a pool championship for CEDE participants and free oral cancer screenings for Poznań residents. Additionally, for the second time, dental professionals will be able to vote for their favourite products of the exhibition in the Stars contest.
With more than 11,000 attendees and 220 companies in 2017, this year’s event is set to improve on those numbers—something the CEDE organisers believe highlights their efforts and dedication to put an exhibition together that includes more and more elements with a real impact on the development of dentistry and an increasingly integrated environment.
