NEW YORK, U.S.: The ability to document cases with photography is becoming increasingly important in dentistry. However, the first step is always to perform quality treatments that satisfy both clinicians and patients. In a free Dental Tribune Study Club webinar on Tuesday, June 18, host Dr. Apolinar Madrigal will be discussing how to combine clinical photography and the new patient-guided Additive-Reductive Template (ART) technique to achieve increased case acceptance with minimally invasive veneers.

During the webinar, participants will also gain a better understanding of how to document the case properly through clinical photography. The webinar will present an opportunity to receive a variety of tips and learn foolproof methodologies for achieving exceptional esthetic smile design and tissue management results. Other areas to be covered include key elements of digital photography, visual documentation to increase case acceptance through hands-on portrait photography, a predictable and systematic protocol for conservative preparation design and patient-approved provisionals, and successful veneer delivery techniques.

Madrigal is a general dentist who operates dental practices in both California and Mexico. He graduated with honors from the University de La Salle Bajio School of Dentistry, Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, where he earned his DDS. Since then, he has become a member of the faculty of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), as well as AAID/MaxiCourse (Asia). He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the California Dental Association and the Stanislaus Dental Society. Madrigal is an internationally recognized lecturer who presents on a large variety of subjects, such as implant dentistry, clinical photography and minimally invasive veneers, throughout the world, including in the U.S., Mexico, the UAE, India and Brazil.

The 1-hour webinar, titled “The ART of successful esthetic case presentation,” will be broadcast live on Tuesday, June 18, at 8 p.m. EST. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.
