Taking place on 27 June, the Digital Dentistry Symposium 2025 will mark the launch of a new series of online educational events focused on key areas of dental specialisation. The virtual format is designed to provide clinicians with up-to-date insights into emerging technologies and clinical strategies across various disciplines. Later this year, symposia on topics such as 3D printing, implantology and aligner therapy will follow.

The first symposium in the series will present a curated selection of expert-led sessions covering innovations in restorative and prosthetic workflows, digital production techniques and practice integration.

Among the confirmed speakers is Tim Hark, a German dental technician and manager of knowledge communication at VOCO, who will discuss the advantages and limitations of modern nano-ceramic hybrid materials for crown restorations, with a particular focus on the CAD/CAM workflow. Dr Bianca Clark, lead practitioner at West Loop Smile Studio in Chicago in the US, will demonstrate how she integrates LuxCreo’s 4D production technology to deliver minimally invasive, same-day restorations. Dr Jesper Hatt, who has worked with more than 1,700 dental clinics worldwide, will share best-practice approaches to clear aligner treatment planning aimed at reducing revisions, complications and failures. Germen Versteeg, a denturist, dental technician and founder of the Dutch full-service clinic and laboratory DTL Mediaan, will provide practical guidance on transitioning from traditional to digital denture fabrication.

Additional lectures and content will further explore the role of digital innovation in enhancing treatment predictability, clinical efficiency and patient-centred care.

Participation is free of charge; however, registration prior to the online event is required. Participants can earn one continuing education credit per session attended.
