SCHAAN, Liechtenstein/ROME, Italy: Digital and aesthetic dentistry will be in the spotlight at Ivoclar Vivadent’s fourth International Expert Symposium, to be held in the Italian capital of Rome on 15 and 16 June. After the very successful one-day symposiums presented in Berlin, London and Madrid, the event aimed at dentists and laboratory technicians will be spread over two days for the first time.

Being hosted under the theme “Advanced digital and esthetic dentistry” at Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica, the event will feature 19 prominent international speakers sharing and discussing their experiences of digital and aesthetic dentistry solutions, the company announced. The distinguished experts will offer insights into their academic and clinical work. The symposium will be held under the chairmanship of Prof. Antonella Polimeni from the Sapienza University of Rome.

At the event, participants will have the opportunity to attend top-class presentations—which the organiser says are bound to provide them with innovative inspirations for their daily work—and be able to exchange ideas and connect with experts and peers from all over the world.

The line-up of well-known speakers includes Dr Stefen Koubi (France) and Hilal Kuday (Turkey), with a lecture titled “Challenging nature in the esthetic zone—Reproduction and prediction in everyday practice situations”. Dr Arndt Happe (Germany) and Vincent Fehmer (Switzerland) will be discussing the art and science of implant reconstructions in the aesthetic zone. In his paper, “The bottom line in direct posterior restoration: Merging esthetics and function”, Dr Gianfranco Politano (Italy) will be considering how to maximise efficiency and economics.

In addition to the plenary lectures, various breakout sessions will be offered in parallel for the first time. They can be booked either online or directly at the event.

The languages of the symposium will be Italian and English. All lectures will be simultaneously interpreted into German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian.

Dental professionals who register for the symposium before 19 March will receive an early bird discount. An online registration form and detailed congress information can be found at
