GLATTPARK, Switzerland: Dental manufacturer CANDULOR has announced the appointment of Alexander Ewert as managing director of the company’s headquarters in Switzerland and its subsidiary in Germany, effective 1 January 2026. Ewert will succeed Claudia Schenkel-Thiel, who is retiring after 16 years with the company, including eight years in a management role.
Ewert has worked closely with Schenkel-Thiel in recent years and has been instrumental in the company’s strategic development. Their long-standing collaboration has contributed to CANDULOR’s professional growth and corporate culture.
“For me, CANDULOR is like a second family, characterised by solidarity and a shared commitment to achieving the best. Claudia laid the foundation for our current success. It is essential that CANDULOR maintains its reputation as a reliable partner for our customers in the future,” Ewert said.
A trained dental technician, Ewert has been with CANDULOR since 2013 and has held senior management positions for several years. Most recently, he served as director of marketing and education. He brings extensive management experience and in-depth industry knowledge to his new role.
Drawing on his professional background, Ewert emphasises the importance of precision and consistency in daily laboratory operations. He aims to further strengthen CANDULOR’s position as a reliable partner, with a continued focus on high product quality, first-class service and dependable delivery.
