PROPACS makes an impression in Birmingham

The innovative technology, a cloud-based Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), was on display for the 13,000 dental professionals who gathered at the event on 18 and 19 May. PROPACS provides dentists with easy access to reliable reports from specialist radiologists, all from the comfort of their practices. Not only does this serve to reduce the risk of errors during the diagnostic phase, but it also offers medico-legal protection for the practitioner and an outstanding service for the patient through GDPR-compliant patient informed consent referral forms.

In addition, the state-of-the-art system provides a safe, off-site archive for diagnostic images and reports, as well as makes use of recommended defragmentation and encryption protocols for total security and GDPR compliance.
