ŁÓDŹ, Poland: The organisers of the Central European Dental Exhibition (CEDE) have announced that they will be hosting the Virtual Dental Exhibition (VDE) from 24 to 26 September. The free-of-charge event will offer an interactive, creative and safe experience that will include webinars, round-table discussions and a trade show.

VDE by CEDE will offer dental professionals the opportunity to participate in a completely innovative form of dental fair from the comfort of their home or office. On its first three days, dental professionals will have the opportunity to participate in a completely innovative form of dental fair from the comfort of their home or office.

For the trade show, there will be three virtual pavilions where exhibitors will showcase their latest products and where experts will be available to present them and answer questions. With just one click, participants can connect via audio or video. Moreover, there is an option to pick and choose materials like brochures, videos and photographs that will be sent to the participants via email.

Education is an inseparable element of every dental show. With VDE, it will be no different. The scientific programme, in the form of publicly available free webinars, will be hosted by companies such as Hol Dental Depot, Philips, Indent, Meditrans, Dr. Wolff Group and Ansell. Additionally, there will be unique discussions devoted to topics like designing career paths, dental care during pregnancy and green dentistry. During and after the webinars, experts will answer questions from attendees.

During VDE, participants can visit as many booths and watch as many webinars as they like. A recorded session of the online seminars will be available online from 27 September to 25 October. During this time, however, no direct interaction with company representatives, experts or lecturers will be possible, which is why live attendance during the first three days is recommended.

The traditional edition of CEDE, which has partnered with GSK, the Polish Dental Association and Dental Tribune International, will take place in Łódź from 3 to 5 December if the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic allows it.
