The guarantee of a fast and safe polymerization for long term and esthetic results.

Choosing MiniLED™ is choosing the reference of curing lights
Curing of direct composites and bonding agents is a key success factor for the restorations. Polymerization with a curing light depends of absorption spectrum, luminous intensity, cure time and width of composite.
ACTEON® MiniLED™ curing lights are the latest generation of L.E.D. (Light Emitting Diode) lamps, born from the collaboration with prestigious universities. The use of MiniLED™ polymerization lamps have been appreciated worldwide for their efficiency and their secure cold light safe on vital teeth.
Thanks to its wide range, from portable to chair connected versions, and smart technology, MiniLEDs offer many possibilities for precise control of the clinical treatment.

Highly compatible with major photo-initiators
Each light-activated photo-initiators integrated into composites react to a specific wavelength. The difficulty in the act of polymerization is that the composition of materials is not known. Therefore, the widest spectrum ensures the best curing. MiniLED™ curing lights offer a large and relevant wavelength spectrum from 420 to 480 nm, covering the main photo-initiators, camphoroquinone (CQ) at 470nm, PPD and PAB at 428 nm. Therefore, they respond very efficiently to the practitioners’ problematic.
Luminous intensity will influence the curing time and depth. Lamps with higher power allow a faster and more efficient polymerization. MiniLED™ curing lights propose a large range of light intensities, among the most powerful, from 1250 mW/cm² to 3000 mW/cm², to cover all clinical needs.
2 removable optical fibers are available on our MiniLEDs. The conventional 7,5 mm diameter is dedicated for large reconstructions, posterior brackets, inlay cores. The 5,5 mm diameter concentrates even more energy at its extremity for small areas reconstructions like lingual ortho brackets, interdental composites. Thus, with the 5,5 mm optical fiber, light intensity is increased by 50%.
The LED technology utilizes all its energy in the absorption spectrum and avoids thermally aggressive UV x-rays. Therefore, MiniLED™ curing lights generate a cold and safe light for the pulp, while maintaining a maximal yield.
A radiometer on the base-charger allow to check light intensity to ensure a perfect curing.

Customize curing modes and times
Adapting the polymerization parameters to each clinical case ensure to have a better reconstruction. MiniLED™ are the only curing lights offering 3 different cutting modes to fit all clinical needs.
The Fast mode, from 3 to 10 seconds, directly reach the maximum power, for multi-layers lamination, adhesives and ionomer glass. The Pulse mode alternates high power with relaxation time, from 5 to 10 seconds. It’s the good compromise between rapidity and safety. Finally, the Ramping mode progressively increases power, from 9 to 20 seconds, avoiding shrinkage stress and composite retraction.
MiniLED™ Ortho for example, has specific exposure times adapted to orthodontic treatments, to move every 4 sec from one bracket to another or to cure a full arch.
It is therefore possible to adjust the curing parameters as close as possible to the characteristics of the material, to get the more esthetic and durable results.

Convenient and hygienic handpieces
Cordless and light, MiniLED™ lamps bodies are easy and comfortable to grip while being robust in anodized aluminium. They don’t have fan, compared to other which need to evacuate heat. This limits cross infection and avoids noise generation. Their rigid protection shield focuses blue light on area to treat with no danger for the retina. Light guides are autoclavable for complete asepsis.
The lithium-ion battery, with no memory effect guaranteed, allows a 300-cycle life span at full power. Enjoy a full day of curing without recharging.

There is one MiniLED™ curing light for each clinical need, it’s the guarantee of a fast and safe polymerization for long term and esthetic results.
