You Have To Simulate Smiles To Stimulate Smiles!
SmilePix has just launched SmilePix E-Z Imaging to help dentists and their team create full face individual smile simulations that will stimulate case acceptance.
The SmilePix E-Z Imaging system, or SEZI, is a simplified system for Photoshop that includes teeth shape templates (Lorin Smile Styles), plug-in panels for Photoshop, and a series of instructional videos that guide you through the process of creating smile simulations that patients will be excited about.
SmilePix has teamed up with Dr. Lorin Berland to offer this exciting new solution. SEZI makes imaging easier to use and gives dentists and their assistants total control over the results. Also, unlike other imaging software, SEZI is reasonably priced and will still work when your computer operating system is updated.
A dentist could get started with SmilePix E-Z Imaging for less than $500. Previous software options for smile simulations cost anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 or more. Many dentists who invested in these programs were frustrated to find that the software stopped working when their computer had a routine upgrade. This won't happen with SEZI, because it uses plug-ins for Photoshop, which is always updated to be compatible with both Windows and MAC.
The SEZI plug-ins were developed by SmilePix founder Sam Laundon. SmilePix has been creating smile simulations as a service for dentists since 2000. Now Laundon is sharing his special techniques for creating quality simulations with dentists and their assistants who prefer to do the imaging themselves. Laundon has found Photoshop to be the best program for imaging. However, it can be a complex program with many options. Laundon has adapted all of the elements needed to create successful smile simulations fast. This includes all of the plug-ins and video tutorials to help dentists and their team get up to speed quickly to create high-quality full face individual smile simulations.
Laundon enlisted the help of Dr. Lorin Berland, co-creator of the Lorin Library, to develop the Lorin Smile Styles, a new and improved template of teeth shapes that work in conjunction with SEZI for optimum imaging results. The Lorin Smile Styles are not photographs, but instead are layers, making it easier to customize size, shape, color, tone and translucency.
