COLOGNE, Germany: The opportunities offered by digital dentistry are rapidly advancing with the introduction of cloud technology. DS Core is a cloud solution for dental professionals and serves as the digital backbone of Dentsply Sirona’s portfolio of dental solutions. Dentists can use it to work efficiently, expand their range of services and offer patients a high level of treatment comfort.
One key advantage for forward-thinking dentistry is that DS Core is constantly evolving, providing dentists with comprehensive support throughout every stage of the treatment process–from diagnosis and planning to implementation.
Initiating and managing all laboratory and service orders and chairside manufacturing.
At the 2025 International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne in Germany, Dentsply Sirona is presenting existing and new features that can unlock growth potential for practices. For the first time, Dentsply Sirona is showcasing DS Core Diagnose1,2, its newest, cloud-based diagnostic viewer1, which creates a new level of flexibility in diagnosing Dentsply Sirona radiographic data anywhere, from any device, and helps lower IT costs. IDS attendees can take an exclusive look at Smart View1,2, an AI-powered tool for 3D segmentation of anatomical structures such as teeth, bone and nerve canals, for the purpose of patient communication. From improved diagnostics to streamlined teamwork and elevated patient consultation, these breakthroughs in DS Imaging with DS Core aim to set new standards in digital dental imaging.
Launched last year, the “Treatment Space” helps dentists conveniently initiate the next workflow from one central location. For example, they can simulate potential treatment outcomes with the SureSmile simulator or unlock in-house restoration workflows with CEREC connected to DS Core.
Executing the planned treatment steps is equally efficient. Users can initiate and manage all lab and service orders from a single platform. At the same time, it provides the starting point for in-house manufacturing, whether through the CEREC design workflow or using a 3D printer such as the Primeprint Solution.
Visitors to the Dentsply Sirona booth can receive comprehensive advice and try out selected features on-site at Booth K020 in Hall 11.2. More information can be found at www.dentsplysirona.com/ids.
