Under the motto “THE BEST, BY DESIGN—intelligent & sustainable solutions”, Dürr Dental is showcasing sustainable products and solutions based on artificial intelligence for everyday practice at the International Dental Show 2023. On Wednesday afternoon, during an exclusive tour of its 600 m² stand (#E008, F011 and E020–F029) in Hall 10.1, CEO Martin Dürrstein personally told Lutz Hiller, a board member of OEMUS MEDIA, about the company’s latest innovations.

“Our vision is to support dental practices with intelligent and innovative solutions,” Dürrstein said. For him, this includes the VistaScan Mini View 2.0. This new imaging plate scanner reduces energy consumption by around 40%, thus contributing to responsible resource use.

With its FD green disinfection wipes, the dental specialist has given a major sustainability boost to its proven surface disinfection. This new wipe material consists of plastic-free natural fibres made from certified renewable raw materials. “In this way, we’re contributing to greater sustainability not only in production but also in use,” Dürrstein explained.

The new Tyscor suction systems set new standards in performance and efficiency via their radial technology. The latest measurements by the Fraunhofer Institute confirm up to 75% lower energy consumption compared with side channel blowers. An electronic control system offers new options for operational reliability, scalability and adaption to individual practice conditions. In its production of the Tyscor series, the traditional company uses recyclable materials.

The option of modular upgrades makes the tandem version of Silver Airline compressors a flexible solution. When expanding their practice, owners can simply add a unit, thus doubling their output reserves.

Dürr Dental is committed to responsible resource use, which is why Dürrstein could proudly declare at the end of this exclusive tour of the fair: “Our production site in Gechingen has been carbon-neutral since the beginning of the year.”
