CHICAGO, US: After receiving clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration in June, South Korean dental implant company MegaGen has announced the US launch of its new BLUEDIAMOND ZYGOMA implant system. Designed for patients with severe maxillary atrophy and limited bone volume for conventional implant placement, the system provides a graftless treatment option for complex full-arch cases.

BLUEDIAMOND ZYGOMA builds on MegaGen’s experience in implant design and mechanical stability. The system supports both immediate and delayed loading protocols depending on clinical conditions. According to MegaGen, its introduction also extends the company’s One-Day Implant philosophy into more complex full-arch applications.

MegaGen is positioning BLUEDIAMOND ZYGOMA as part of a digital full-arch workflow encompassing diagnosis, treatment planning, surgery and prosthetic treatment. The company said it intends to further develop full-arch solutions that incorporate conventional, zygomatic and pterygoid implant approaches according to residual bone and anatomical conditions, supported by digital workflows and clinical education.

Debut in Chicago

Tomorrow, MegaGen will formally introduce BLUEDIAMOND ZYGOMA to the US market during its 2026 North America Scientific Meeting in Chicago. The two-day event will feature lectures and hands-on education in full-arch rehabilitation, including a dedicated workshop on zygomatic and pterygoid solutions for complex cases.
