ZURICH, Switzerland: The Nobel Biocare Symposium will return this year in a new format as the implant track of the Envista Summit. Hosted by Nobel Biocare’s parent company, Envista Holdings Corp., the summit will take place in Vienna in Austria from 7 to 10 September, and Nobel Biocare will be showcasing its latest advancements in implant dentistry.

Nobel Biocare is inviting clinicians to the dedicated dental training and educational experience that will highlight its parent company’s consolidated portfolio of more than 30 dental brands.

Envista held its inaugural summit in Austin in Texas in the US earlier this year, and the company will next be exhibiting its comprehensive portfolio in Vienna. At the event, the Nobel Biocare Symposium will unite with the popular Ormco Forum and a new technology track, meeting a wide range of dental professionals’ educational needs.

Nobel Biocare President Patrik Eriksson commented: “Partnering with Envista’s portfolio of brands at the Envista Summit is a great step forward for the Nobel Biocare Symposium. In addition to our implant, prosthetic, and regenerative innovations, customers can experience an even greater range of cutting-edge treatment solutions to enhance their practice, including digital workflow solutions, such as the DTX Studio software and DEXIS imaging suite.”

The summit’s implant track will feature more than 30 speakers, numerous hands-on sessions and ten specialised workshops covering topics such as immediate loading and function, full-arch rehabilitation and digital workflows.

Envista expects around 1,000 in-person attendees, and it will also be possible to attend the summit remotely. For more information, visit the event website.

Nobel Biocare to present its growing portfolio

Nobel Biocare will be presenting its innovations and line extensions at the event. These will include the Nobel Biocare N1 implant system, which is reshaping implantology with a simple three-step surgical protocol featuring the low-speed, irrigation-free OsseoShaper site preparation instrument. The N1 implant system also features the Xeal and TiUltra surfaces, and the results of recent clinical studies on these will be explained. Also on show will be the ever-growing creos regenerative portfolio and its new synthetic material options, as well as the GalvoSurge implant cleaning system, which is set to become essential to clinicians tackling peri-implant complications. Attendees will also see the expanded range of zirconia VITA shades for premium NobelProcera restorations.

Digital dental solutions from Nobel Biocare will receive their due attention. Attendees will be introduced to DTX Studio Clinic, for example, which is part of the DTX Studio suite and is a truly open dental care software platform that employs assisted intelligence to improve clinical confidence and simplify treatment. The latest release of this solution dramatically speeds up general dental diagnostics and treatment workflows and allows for direct chairside prosthetic-driven implant planning. Clinicians can outsource to a service provider or continue with DTX Studio Implant for the various guided surgery options of guided pilot drilling and fully guided to dynamic navigation using X-Guide.

At the summit, Envista will be showcasing its portfolio of brands, including Ormco, Spark, DEXIS, DTX, Orascoptic, Alpha-Bio Tec, Kerr and Metrex.
