ROME, Italy: AIC Europe and Andrea Bocelli Foundation (ABF) have launched the #TogetherHasNoLimits campaign to fundraise throughout the year and in particular during the 2022 Osstem-Hiossen Meeting in Europe to help children and families that have fled the conflict in Ukraine.
Italy now being home to more than 130,000 refugees from Ukraine according to UNICEF, continuing the support for them is crucial. On behalf of the children and families made refugees this year, the goal of #TogetherHasNoLimits is to continue to support the provision of an on-site emergency psychologist for refugees, access to education, and cultural and linguistic mediation.
Marcela Holovská, marketing coordinator of Osstem Europe, said, “In 2020, we ran #VoiceOfTogether, a solidarity fundraising campaign to support healthcare workers and first responders battling coronavirus through ABF. Through this initiative, we raised a total of €11,485. This year, we are directly working with ABF to contribute to another social cause: providing social protection and equal access to education. The Osstem-Hiossen Meeting in Europe, combined with the AIC Europe–ABF fundraiser, will not only be an opportunity to empower the Ukrainian refugee children in Italy, but also be a groundbreaking chance for dental professionals to uphold nobler motives.”
The fundraiser will run until 31 December and has a target of €50,000. Donations can be made to #TogetherHasNoLimits on the ABF platform or during the 2022 Osstem-Hiossen Meeting in Europe which will be held on 28 and 29 October at the Auditorium del Massimo congress centre in Rome.
