The International Osteology Symposium 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, from 23 to 25 April. Organised by the Osteology Foundation, the event will gather clinicians, researchers and industry experts from across the globe under the theme “Beyond Regeneration.” With nearly 100 speakers and an expected 3,000 participants from 80 countries, the symposium will provide a platform to exchange the latest scientific insights and clinical practices in oral tissue regeneration.
The scientific programme will combine evidence-based knowledge with interactive formats designed to enhance learning and practical application. Highlights include four re-live surgeries, offering step-by-step demonstrations of hard- and soft-tissue regeneration, and clinical roundtables on topics such as flap management, peri-implant health and bone augmentation. Sessions will also examine the integration of digital workflows, artificial intelligence diagnostics and next-generation biomaterials into regenerative practice.
An important feature of the symposium is its focus on emerging professionals. The Next Gen Team Sessions, together with the International Osteology Case Competition and Poster Exhibition, will give young clinicians and researchers opportunities to present their work and engage directly with established experts. More than a third of the speakers will be new voices in the field, reflecting the foundation’s commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders in regenerative dentistry.
