NEW YORK, U.S.: In an upcoming free webinar on Wednesday, Nov. 29, Dr. Francisco Marques dos Santos will be describing several clinical techniques that will aid practitioners in achieving predictable esthetic success. With specific learning objectives, the webinar will offer participants the opportunity to enhance their abilities and performance.

The clinical techniques described in the webinar are aimed at enabling practitioners to attain esthetic success. This is achieved using a method that limits the amount of buccal contour change of the extraction site ridge and potentially enhances the thickness of the periimplant soft tissue coronal to the implant–abutment interface.

Marques graduated in dentistry from the Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde Egas Moniz, Almada, Portugal. He went on to practice as a general dentist with a special interest in fixed prosthodontics and completed his postgraduate education in fixed prosthodontics and CAD/CAM systems. He then completed a two-year full-time advanced program in implant dentistry at New York University and a certificate in advanced bone grafting techniques at the Pikos Institute, both U.S. He recently completed courses in esthetic and functional rehabilitation, digital smile design and vertical augmentation. He runs a private practice in London, U.K., where he solely performs oral rehabilitation.

The 1-hour webinar, titled “Immediate implant placement in the aesthetic area—A simple protocol for everyday practice,” will be broadcast live on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 1:30 p.m. EST (New York). Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.

Dental professionals who are interested in attending the course may register online here.
