COLOGNE, Germany: In March, the dental industry will be gathering at the world’s largest dental trade fair, the International Dental Show (IDS), in Cologne once again. With a completely new stand concept, innovative product highlights and exciting new ideas, Amann Girrbach will bring the world of digital dentistry to life for visitors.

Amann Girrbach will be attending as an exhibitor with a completely new look. At the new stand location in Hall 1.2, visitors will be able to experience how digital workflows can sustainably facilitate daily routines in dental laboratories and dental practices and thereby set new standards in patient treatment. An exciting showcase, together with the opportunity of actually experiencing products live in action and learning from colleagues and product experts how the new technologies can be optimally integrated into the workflow, will make the abstract world of digitisation tangible.

“An incredible amount has happened at Amann Girrbach since the last ‘real’ IDS in 2019. We have dedicated ourselves to digital transformation across a wide spectrum, developing solutions aimed at making interdisciplinary collaboration between the dental practice and laboratory as convenient and versatile as possible. What drives us is the idea of providing patients with healthy smiles as a result of receiving the best possible care through the teamwork of technical and medical professionals in dentistry,” said Dr Wolfgang Reim, CEO of Amann Girrbach.

He added: “The centrepiece of this activity is our AG.Live software platform, which makes the collaboration between the practice and the laboratory child’s play at various levels. We will also be addressing the issue of sustainability.”

It goes without saying that fans of the tried-and-tested product portfolio will also be fully catered for—especially as numerous innovations in the field of consumables or in the laboratory CAD/CAM area will be on display.

“After a long break in which personal encounters were often rather limited, we would like to offer our visitors a very special experience. To live up to this expectation, our stand will be appropriately large and spectacular: on a 640 m² stand area with a new stand concept, we will be showcasing how we apply digital solutions and excellent products to network dental practices and laboratories and thus revolutionise dentistry in the long term,” commented Ulrike Frey, director of brand marketing and communications at Amann Girrbach.

“We are greatly looking forward to meeting with customers, partners and all other interested parties on-site and to convincing visitors of our solutions. A visit will definitely pay handsome dividends—that much we can promise,” she continued.
