BANGKOK, Thailand: Held from 27-28 March in the Thai capital, the Osstem World Meeting 2026 Bangkok highlighted the latest clinical strategies and applications in digital implant dentistry. According to Osstem Impant, this year’s edition of the annual meeting brought together approximately 1,200 dental professionals from 40 countries.
The Osstem World Meeting is a global academic symposium that invites dental clinicians from around the world to share and engage with the latest clinical insights. This year’s event focused on current trends in digital dentistry and their practical clinical application.
Under the theme “A decade of digital innovation with OneGuide system”, the event marked the 10th anniversary of the Osstem OneGuide digital implant system. OneGuide provides clinicians with a precise guide for drilling angle and depth in implant placement and the programme highlighted the system’s supported digital treatment approaches.
The scientific programme consisted of four sessions. The first session addressed developments in guided surgery and immediate implant placement in the aesthetic zone. The second session covered advanced topics such as implant surface characteristics, clinical success factors and alveolar bone reconstruction. The third session featured a live surgery, during which an edentulous maxilla case was treated using OneGuide, followed by prosthetic connection and intra-oral scanning. The final session explored future directions in digital implant treatment, including sinus lift procedures and aesthetic strategies for full-arch implant rehabilitation.
Furthermore, an engaging hands-on programme provided participants with practical training that addressed topics including efficient implant placement using OneGuide and OneCAS, immediate loading protocols based on the 122 Taper KIT, minimally invasive sinus approaches and digital prosthetic workflows.
An Osstem Implant representative commented: “The Bangkok meeting provided an opportunity to share current trends in digital dentistry and their clinical applications. We will continue to expand global academic exchange opportunities.”
Launched in 2008, the Osstem World Meeting has a strong international focus. It has been held in major cities worldwide, serving as a global academic platform for implant dentistry. This year’s event was conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation in Chinese, Russian, Turkish, Japanese and Thai.
