MONTE CARLO, France: Dentistry is in a continuous state of evolution, with the field of implantology perhaps experiencing the most amount of change. At Alpha-Bio Tec’s recent international congress, dental professionals were invited to explore the possibilities of this dynamic field, while also drawing on Alpha-Bio Tec’s 30 years of experience to better understand upcoming trends and the latest advancements in the field.
Held in October, the two-day congress brought together 500 participants, from 18 countries, who learnt about the creation of functional products and the demand for, and importance of, natural, aesthetic results.
“Since our company was founded 30 years ago, our philosophy has been to work with our clients to provide constant training and invest in scientific research. Together, these factors have contributed to our vast experience and have enabled us to support future growth through the introduction of new techniques and cutting-edge treatments,” said Alpha-Bio Tec General Manager Yuval Grimberg.
With a number of internationally renowned keynote speakers, attendees were able to learn more about issues related to advanced 3-D imaging and CAD/CAM technologies, with a focus on applications that improve implant dentistry treatment results. There was also a review of guided planning in comparison to conventional implant surgery and an analysis of the real benefits for patients and the new possibilities for reducing implant treatment times and improving aesthetic results.
Over the course of the two days, other topics that were covered included the critical role digital workflow plays in treatment planning and how new technologies have revolutionised the diagnosis and treatment of dental implants, creating an interdisciplinary environment in which technical and scientific progress creates new parameters of care and allows better results for patients.
“As we at Alpha-Bio Tec look to the future, it’s clear that our main focus will continue to be our customers,” noted Grimberg. “To provide dentists with efficient and simple solutions and appropriate training in order to support them in doing their job in the best possible way. As we move forward, we’re going to be continuing our development of products that give our customers’ patients the best possible aesthetic end results.”
