COLOGNE, Germany: The International Dental Show (IDS) is a brilliant place for companies to showcase their advancements in technology and new products. At this year’s event, W&H released several new devices, including its latest steriliser, Lisa. Equipped with artificial intelligence, Lisa turns high-end Class B sterilising into an efficient and safe work process.

The technology that makes Lisa so impressive is known as EliSense. With it, the new steriliser provides a very user-friendly experience. Its LED indicators and display enable users to easily see information about cycle status, temperature and much more. This optimises both workflow and output at a glance.

Another area of note is EliSense’s Smart Sense. This feature helps to shape and optimise the daily work routine. It allows Lisa to learn use by use and make suggestions for greater efficiency in the sterilisation process, even reminding users when the next routine test should be performed, depending on local regulatory requirements.

EliSense’s Temperature Sense provides protection for the dental team and is an important aspect of the new Lisa steriliser. Equipped with this feature, the W&H steriliser warns when the door is already open, but the load is still too hot to be touched. According to W&H, Lisa thus takes care of the user’s well-being and offers greater safety during the working process.

“We believe it is a great advancement in sterilisation,” said W&H’s Director of Business Management, Simon Niedermüller.
