EZ Plus Implant

The EZ Plus system has a slight flare, which allows for initial stability. The surgical kit is easy to use, has sharp drills which are easy to read, has drill stops, and also includes a Linderman drill (sideways cutting) if you want to correct angulation.

Our EZ Plus, Rescue, and Ex Feel implants are self tapping. Locators and O Ring attachments are available for the EZ Plus, Rescue, and ExFeel systems.

Both EZ Plus and Rescue implants feature platform switching, which maintains crestal bone, and in addition, they both have a dual internal connection. They feature both a trilobe and an 11 degree morse taper, which prevents microgap movement and allows for a beautifully keratinized tissue response.

The EZ Plus system has only 2 prosthetic connections; there is one prosthetic connection for the small size, the 3.3, and one prosthetic connection shared by the regular (4.0, 4.5) and wide (5.0) sizes.

The small diameter EZ Plus implant is reinforced at the top, where it flares, so there are no problems with it fracturing or flowering, which has been reported in the Nobel 3.5.

Most restorative doctors who use Nobel will tell you that they notice bone loss in the 1st thread. This is problematic because then the patient loses tissue and the aesthetic results are compromised. We maintain bone level and as mentioned, the tissue response is excellent. This results in aesthetics which are much superior to Nobel and other implant systems that don’t have platform switching – and of course, other implant systems only have one prosthetic connection, whereas our dual connection prevents bacterial infiltration.
