With a size of 216 × 40 × 36 mm and a weight of 228 g, the PANDA 3D is is small, light and therefore allows for effortless scanning. It produces more accurate data in a shorter period of time compared with conventional impression methods.

The scanner is easy to use. The scanner can be controlled via a single button, which is comfortable for the practitioner and reduces the risk of cross-contamination. Dentists can rotate the scanner to review the 3D image on screen and the scan data can be presented to the patient from different angles. The height of the tip is only 14.1 mm, which reduces the foreign body sensation in the patient’s mouth, makes scanning smoother and the field of view clearer. Various scanning heads can be used in combination to easily realise dead-angle-free scanning.
