Posiflex gets a new look

Posiflex Design, a leader in ergonomic seating for the dental professionals, is stepping up the pace once more as it unveiled the newly redesign, latest version of its ever-popular Free Motion Elbow Supports.

In collaboration with the Canadian Center for Research on Material Innovation, the Quebec manufacturer has been working for several months now on elaborate new elbow supports for its line of ergonomic seating. According to Lyne Noiseux, president and founder of Posiflex Design: “The biggest challenge was to find a way to integrate different textures and softness on a surface as small as the elbow support while keeping the desired shape. The task has been enormous, but seeing the result today, we are convinced that we have succeeded.”Not only was the level of comfort increased significantly, but the concave shape positions the elbow in the right place and delivers better handling to the user, too, concluded Noiseux.

For Sebastien Tardif, vice president of sales and marketing: “The response from our distributors partners and users to the new elbow supports has been extremely positive. Sometimes, I would love to have a tape recorder for the ‘wow’ I hear when people set their elbows onto the support; it is the greatest reward for Mrs. Noiseux, who had the vision to create such a product.”

Posiflex Designs has been convinced for years now that the elbow supports, recognized by the Health and Safety in the Workplace (ASSTSAS), are an essential tool when the nature of the work requires a sustained and important muscle demand on the back, neck and shoulders. With several thousands of users in the dental industry, the Free Motion Elbow supports are also used in medical and research labs — and in museums that are doing artwork and artefact restoration. They are even used in the costumes workshop of Cirque du Soleil!

The company is confident that with its high-tech, ultra-comfortable material and its new look, the ergonomic seating will meet the needs of its most demanding clientele who are concerned with their quality of life.
