Diamond Instruments for preparing zirconia
Zirconia is a material with a promising future in prosthetic dentistry. The special properties of zirconia place extreme demands on the preparation and the instruments required for preparation.
At the IDS 2009 NTI-Kahla GmbH has intro- duced the Z-Cut development range, which sets new standards in zirconia preparation.
The design of the Z-Cut instruments is tailored to the extreme hardness of zirconia ceramic. They have a longer service life and much greater cutting capacity than standard instru- ments.
Even slimline diamond instruments are highly efficient.
This is attained using modified electroplating bonding technology.
Seven selected shapes allow preparation of all types of zirconia crown and bridge restorations.
