CHARLOTTE, N.C., US: Dentsply Sirona has announced the US market launch of MIS LYNX, a cost-effective dental implant solution designed by MIS Implants Technologies. According to the companies, MIS LYNX is a reliable choice for a wide range of clinical applications. Its dimension range and prosthetic line match those of MIS C1 implants, and the system has been designed to provide sufficient primary stability in different bone qualities and for immediate placement in extraction sockets.
The MIS LYNX system features an implant with a wet surface, sharp and sterile single-use drills, and a large prosthetic range. Designed as an all-in-one solution, it combines a thoughtful design with cost-effectiveness, the companies said, and thus offers an excellent value proposition for clinicians and patients. MIS LYNX is now available in the US.
Featuring XD single-use drills and the MIS CLEAR surface
MIS provides sharp, sterile single-use drills with each of its implants, a cost-saving proposition that is unique on the market. The sterility of the MIS XD drills helps dentists to follow strict clinical hygiene protocols and eliminates the need for pre-surgery sterilisation.
Rodrigo Canelhas is vice president and general manager of Dentsply Sirona’s Latin America business.
MIS LYNX is wet-packaged in an isotonic saline solution, giving it the MIS CLEAR surface and ensuring that it maintains its surface quality from production to placement. According to the results of bench-testing studies, compared with implants with a dry surface, those packaged in the solution maintain their wet surface throughout their shelf life and have lower carbon levels and higher mineralisation of calcium phosphate on their surface. Furthermore, titanium oxide nanostructures are present on the surface of MIS CLEAR implants.
“We are thrilled to bring MIS LYNX to the dental professionals in the US,” commented Rodrigo Canelhas, vice president and general manager of Dentsply Sirona’s Latin America business, in a press release. He continued: “Clinicians can rely on this innovative solution to achieve results across diverse clinical scenarios, enhancing their practice and giving them greater confidence in patient care. It also shows our unwavering commitment to meeting the needs of dental professionals through premium-quality implants at a cost-effective price point.”
Dr Gustavo Giordani, a Dentsply Sirona speaker and educator from São Paolo in Brazil, said: "With over ten years of experience using the MIS system, I see LYNX as a natural evolution. I am impressed by the quality of the prosthetic components and the drills. Small details, like sterilised and sharp burs, make our work as clinicians easier.”
For over 30 years, MIS has been at the forefront of implant dentistry, offering state-of-the-art products that prioritise clinical excellence. Its launch of MIS LYNX reaffirms the company’s dedication to empowering dental professionals to deliver predictable outcomes with confidence.
