COLOGNE, Germany: From 25 to 29 March, dental professionals from around the world will gather in Cologne for the International Dental Show (IDS). The dental fair is a key event for Planmeca, providing an invaluable opportunity to engage with dental professionals and partners, introduce new products and display the benefits of Planmeca solutions through live demonstrations.
IDS 2025 also marks a milestone for Planmeca, commemorating 20 years since the introduction of its first digital 3D imaging unit, which became an industry benchmark at a technological turning point in dentistry. Since then, Planmeca has pioneered numerous digital dental solutions, which have provided improved care, ease of use and peace of mind to dental professionals and patients around the world. At IDS 2025, visitors can discover its new generation of products that will pave the way for dental innovation for the next 20 years and beyond.
Highlights will include new product launches across all major categories: dental chair units, imaging, CAD/CAM and software. The Planmeca booth (#A030–C039, Hall 1.2) will also feature dedicated areas showcasing solutions tailored to dental specialists, educators and technicians.
Product demonstrations will emphasise the advantages of Planmeca’s digital workflow. At the centre of the workflow stands the unique Planmeca Romexis all-in-one software platform, which integrates all Planmeca devices and offers a robust set of tools and features, including artificial intelligence and virtual reality, for various needs and specialties. Experts from Planmeca will be on hand to provide in-depth demonstrations and answer any questions, ensuring that attendees gain a comprehensive understanding of how these innovations can enhance their practice.
“We are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to connect with dental professionals from around the world at IDS 2025. Nothing compares to the dynamic atmosphere of IDS and the chance to network in person. We look forward to exchanging ideas with dental professionals and showcasing the intelligent features of our products at our IDS 2025 booth,” said Jouko Nykänen, senior vice president at Planmeca.
Planmeca will share adjoining booths with KaVo Dental and LM-Dental, both part of Planmeca Group. The booth will also showcase the HeySmile clear aligner solution and Entteri’s practice management software and cloud hosting service.
Finally, Planmeca, KaVo Dental and HeySmile will host a joint press conference to unveil their latest product innovations on Monday, 24 March.
