DUBAI, UAE: At AEEDC Dubai 2026, SprintRay is once again presenting its chairside 3D-printing workflow for definitive restorations. Designed to streamline every step from scan to final placement, the Midas ecosystem with the new Ceramic Crown HT resin offers an efficient, capsule-based process for producing durable, highly aesthetic restorations in less than 10 minutes.
Midas is a compact dental 3D printer built around Digital Press Stereolithography, a technology that replaces open resin tanks and large bottles with single-use resin capsules. This enables the system to process highly filled, viscous ceramic-based resins that are difficult to handle in conventional 3D printers, while keeping the workflow clean and predictable. The system is intended to make in-practice fabrication of crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers a routine part of daily dentistry.

Each case starts with artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted design. Using cloud-based software, clinicians upload intra-oral scans, define margins and occlusion and receive a restorative proposal within minutes, with the option to adjust the design chairside before it is sent directly to Midas for fabrication.
Instead of pouring or stirring resin, dental professionals place a sealed capsule in the printer and let the system manage dosing and identification. Midas automatically recognises the material and shade, then presses the viscous resin through a transparent window while a 385 nm light source cures each layer. Up to three definitive crowns, six inlays/onlays or nine veneers can be produced in a single, short print cycle, with no open resin handling and minimal routine maintenance.
At AEEDC Dubai, SprintRay is highlighting the combination of Midas with Ceramic Crown HT, a high-translucency, ceramic-dominant resin formulated specifically for the system. With more than 60% ceramic filler content, Ceramic Crown HT is designed to provide lifelike light diffusion and an enamel-like surface after finishing and polishing, helping restorations blend with the surrounding dentition.

Because Midas uses a capsule system, shade management and inventory control are simplified. Capsules are available in common dentine shades and carry encoded labels with material and batch data. The compact footprint of the unit allows installation in existing surgeries or consultation rooms without major modification.
Beyond single crowns, the system supports minimally invasive indications such as inlays, onlays and veneers. Single-visit delivery reduces the need for additional appointments and provisional restorations, and the per-unit cost of printed restorations can be competitive with, and potentially more precise than, milled ceramics. For practices already using intra-oral scanning, Midas offers an accessible route into chairside definitive restorations.
At AEEDC Dubai 2026, SprintRay will be engaging with dentists as well as clinic and laboratory owners who are looking to expand their digital workflows. Live demonstrations at Booth 8B06 will show the complete process from scan to seated restoration, illustrating how AI design, digital press printing and ceramic-dominant resins can help streamline restorative dentistry.
