COLOGNE, Germany: This year’s International Dental Show (IDS) proved a great success for the Austrian dental manufacturer Amann Girrbach. The show not only afforded the company an ideal opportunity to showcase its range of innovative new products but also importantly gave customers and potential clients alike the chance to engage directly with its offerings.
At the event, Amann Girrbach was uniquely positioned to unveil not one but a staggering 15 new innovations across the full range of its product categories. Speaking to Dental Tribune International at the event, Abdo Salem, vice president of marketing and services at Amann Girrbach, reflected on the importance of IDS for the company as well as the comprehensive array of new product offerings:
Abdo Salem, vice president of marketing and services at Amann Girrbach.
“IDS is our most important show and we all await it every two years. This year, as you also can see, Amann Girrbach has a new concept, has a new approach, encapsulated in our innovative product line. For a company the size of Amann Girrbach, IDS is the place where we can reach the most customers. This year, we are presenting 15 new products—and everybody has been coming to see them. If you look around the booth, there are new products all around. This is exactly what we are focusing on now—innovation and advancement—which will remain our points of focus until the next IDS.”
Visitors to the aesthetically polished Amann Girrbach booth enjoyed a completely reimagined exhibition experience, featuring live demonstrations, an innovative stage setting and compelling presentations by industry experts. Salem drew attention to the impressive level of customer engagement at the booth, from which the company anticipates a flow of new business that will maintain the company’s strength into the future.
“Yesterday, it was so crowded that we couldn’t even walk around, and you can see how large and spacious the booth is. Customers were coming from everywhere, and they were all very intrigued to see what these new 15 inventions were all about. I mean, what company is able to introduce 15 new inventions at one exhibition? On the business side of things, we also collected leads; however, we have not been able to follow up on all of these yet, since so many have come in. The business generated here at IDS will keep us busy for a long time to come,” Salem said.
Driven by its focus on innovation and customer engagement, Amann Girrbach is set to continue its important contributions to the dental industry and will surely be eagerly awaited at the next IDS, in 2027.
