LANGENAU, Germany: COLTENE has announced the rebranding of its popular ROEKO Flexi Dam, which will now be available under the new name HySolate Flexi Dam. This change integrates the product into the HySolate family, a range of solutions designed for the application of dental dams. While the name and packaging design have been updated, the product itself remains unchanged.
Since 1910, many products under the traditional ROEKO brand have been developed and produced at the Langenau site, located in southern Germany, to the highest quality standards. The popular ROEKO Flexi Dam will continue to be manufactured at this site but will now be marketed under the new name HySolate Flexi Dam.
The HySolate Flexi Dam Non-Latex is made of an elastomer, offering high elasticity with moderate tension.
The HySolate Flexi Dam, made of elastomer, offers high elasticity while retaining moderate tension. This makes it easy to apply and allows for gentle retraction. Being latex-free, it is particularly suitable for individuals with latex hypersensitivity or allergies. In addition to the familiar violet and blue colours, the HySolate Flexi Dam will now also be available in green.
“To ensure a smooth transition, our existing customers will be informed well in advance about the brand change via a flyer included with ROEKO product orders, along with the new order numbers and colour options,” said Gabriele Burkhardt, head of the product segment for treatment auxiliaries at COLTENE. “Alongside our standard latex dental dam variants, the proven Black Edition, and a variety of clamps and wedjets, the Flexi Dam now forms part of the HySolate portfolio,” she added.
The HySolate product family offers a broad range of colours, sizes and thicknesses in both latex and non-latex variants. COLTENE’s Dental Dam Guide provides detailed information for each clinical situation, helping practices choose the best possible option. This enables dental teams to select the appropriate dental dam based on elasticity, retraction capability, size, thickness and colour.
The guide is further supported by various workshops in which participants learn how to select and use the most suitable products for different scenarios. This initiative contributes to greater safety, comfort and efficiency in the daily operations of dental practices.
