Achieving success with modern dental ceramics depends on a number of factors, among them the physical properties of the materials and the fabrication and clinical procedures that damage them and the oral environment. In a free Ivoclar Vivadent webinar on Wednesday, Jan. 29, Dr. Miona Jovanovic will be speaking about modern ceramic restorations and the most efficient bonding protocols for them.
In her postgraduate education, Jovanovic followed diverse courses on preventive and reconstructive dentistry, and on the design and interpretation of clinical studies, and she is well placed to share her knowledge. In the webinar, participants will learn to set clear indications in various clinical cases and to choose restorative and luting materials. They will also have the opportunity to analyze cementation protocols.
After finishing her dental degree at the University of Belgrade in Serbia in 2010, Jovanovic worked as a general dental practitioner in Serbia and Germany for seven years and then obtained her doctorate from the Medical University of Vienna’s Department of Dentistry in 2019. Since 2017, she has been working for Ivoclar Vivadent in Vienna, giving courses on fixed prosthodontics, bleaching and preventive care.
The 1-hour webinar, titled “Modern ceramic restorations and most efficient bonding protocols: Learn when to apply which procedure,” will be broadcast live on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 8 a.m. EST. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.
Dental professionals who are interested in attending the course may register online here.
