When performing endodontic treatment, an outcome that enhances long-term tooth viability is the ultimate goal. How this can be achieved in an efficient, predictable and reproducible manner will be shown by Dr Eugen Buga in an upcoming webinar. He spoke with Dental Tribune International about the contents of his upcoming online seminar.

Dr Buga, why is it so important to perform endodontics in an efficient, predictable and reproducible manner?
Today, in order to be successful in your practice, it is not enough to just carry out the treatment. It is important to fulfil it as efficiently as possible, quickly and without the unnecessary costs of additional materials, with which companies have oversaturated the market. At the end of the day, what is important for us is the well-being of the patient, working without stress and financial well-being.

How can modern endodontic techniques and applications benefit endodontists and their practices?
It is no secret that dentistry is among the most stressful professions. Every dentist should know specifically what works faster and more efficiently, what tools and protocols are the most effective and science-based so that endodontics and dentistry as a whole bring pleasure and good results.

What are the three main learning objectives for viewers of your webinar?
We will talk about all phases of endodontic treatment and cover topics such as how to perform conservative access professionally quickly and efficiently; how to choose the perfect rotary file system, filtering all unnecessary information; and my top three instrumentation protocols for most cases with complex anatomies.

Editorial note: The 1-hour webinar, titled “Fast and efficient precision endodontics”, will be presented live on Friday, 22 May, at 8 p.m. CEST. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the topic, as well as earn a continuing education credit by answering a questionnaire after the lecture. Registration on the Dental Tribune Study Club website is free of charge.
