CHICAGO, US: HASSBIO America will take centre stage at LMT LAB DAY Chicago 2026, which will be held from 19 to 21 February. The company has organised a comprehensive educational programme and exhibition at Booth K23. In addition to highlighting its advanced aesthetic workflows and milling optimisation strategies, HASSBIO America will launch Amber Mill H, a next-generation hybrid dental material engineered for modern dental laboratories and practices.
Titled “Practical mastery, predictable esthetics”, the company’s education series will feature a curated programme of full-day, in-depth courses led by internationally recognised master dental technicians and educators. The series will be held on 19 February, and each course is designed to deliver immediately applicable techniques focused on efficiency, predictability and high-end aesthetics.
The course titles include:
- “Mastering pressable esthetics with Amber Press and Amber Press Master”;
- “Next-generation CAD/CAM esthetics with Amber Mill and Amber Mill Disk”; and
- “Furnace-free esthetic workflows: Clinical and lab applications of Amber Mill H”.
Sal Rodas, president of the company, commented: “Amber users have consistently asked us for deeper, more practical guidance on how to fully leverage the unique optical and physical properties of our materials to improve both workflow efficiency and clinical outcomes.”
Rodas added: “We’re especially excited to share new protocols—including updated temperature guidelines that unlock five distinct translucency ranges—because they empower technicians to achieve exceptional results with minimal effort.”
Speaker highlights
The LMT LAB DAY Chicago education series will feature Amber Ambassadors and master ceramists known for their production workflows and highly aesthetic dental restorations, including:
- Sean Park, master dental technician and owner of YM Dental Lab in Chantilly in Virginia in the US;
- Juan Escobar, master dental technician and owner of Key Element Dental Lab in Chesapeake in Virginia; and
- Rosemberg Jaramillo, master dental technician and owner of Estudio Dental de Laboratorio in Medellín in Colombia.
New Amber Mill H and temperature guidelines for translucency
At the company’s booth, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Amber Mill H, a newly launched hybrid material designed to streamline production while delivering premium aesthetics. Amber Mill H supports dry milling, achieves high aesthetic results with polishing alone and allows optional light-polymerised staining and glazing, enabling flexible and efficient workflows for laboratories and dental practices.
The company will also unveil new temperature guidelines for Amber Mill, supporting five distinct translucency ranges: HT+, HT, MT, LT and MO. This system allows technicians to fine-tune aesthetics through controlled heat treatment without changing materials or adding complex layering steps. HT+ is a translucency option unique to Amber, enabling technicians to achieve maximum vitality and depth with minimal effort, particularly in cases involving minimal preparation and high aesthetic demands.
In addition, the company will present updated milling optimisation strategies for Amber Mill Disk. These will focus on refining tool paths, improving edge stability, enhancing marginal accuracy and delivering more predictable outcomes.
Dental professionals are invited to visit the HASSBIO America stand to engage directly with the team, explore material samples and discuss workflow strategies. Registration for the full-day courses is available via the company’s website. More information about LMT LAB DAY Chicago is available here.
