Geistlich has launched Geistlich Campus, a global e-learning platform offering evidence-based online education in regenerative and implant dentistry. The new digital campus expands the company’s educational activities by providing dental professionals worldwide with access to live and on-demand webinars after free registration.

The first live webinar, to be broadcast on 24 February at 7 p.m. (CET), will review the evolution of incision design and suturing techniques in regenerative implant surgery. Under the title “Incision and suturing techniques for predictable hard and soft tissue regeneration”, the session focuses on minimally invasive surgical concepts, anatomical considerations related to vascular supply and neural structures, and the role of precise suturing in achieving stable wound closure and biologically predictable regenerative outcomes. The session will be led by Dr Markus B. Hürzeler, a specialist in periodontology and implant therapy with academic appointments in Germany and the US and an extensive publication record in implant dentistry and tissue regeneration.

On 4 March, the webinar “When clinical excellence meets communication mastery” will explore evidence-based approaches to patient communication and treatment acceptance in dental practice. Starting at 7 p.m. (CET), the session will examine how structured communication strategies can support ethical decision-making and effective case presentation without compromising clinical integrity. The webinar will be presented by Dr Prav Solanki, a dental business consultant with experience in practice development, patient communication and dental marketing.

Furthermore, the webinar “35 years of GBR: surgical factors The surgical key factors to achieve successful outcomes with excellent long-term stability” will review the development of guided bone regeneration from its early clinical application to current surgical protocols. The lecture discusses advances in biomaterials, surgical techniques and diagnostic imaging, supported by long-term clinical and radiographic follow-up data. The session will be delivered by Dr Daniel Buser, emeritus professor of oral surgery at the University of Bern and a pioneer of guided bone regeneration and implant surface technology. It will take place on 30 March at 7 p.m. (CET).

The webinar series will continue on 23 June with “Clinical efficiency in modern implantology: Simplify, stabilise, suceed”, which will present a streamlined implantology approach combining digital planning, guided implant placement and regenerative biomaterials, with the aim of reducing treatment time while maintaining predictable functional and aesthetic outcomes. The session will be led by Dr Alfonso Gil, a specialist in periodontology and implant dentistry with advanced academic training in Europe and the US and editorial responsibilities in international dental journals.

Geistlich Campus offers continuing education (CE) credits for eligible webinars through the Academy of General Dentistry’s PACE programme. For each webinar, participants can earn one CE credit after completing a complementary quiz following the session. Each live webinar will become available on demand for those unable to attend the live session.

Registration for the campus and individual webinars is free of charge at campus.geistlich.com.
