NEW YORK. U.S.: Minimally invasive dentistry has well and truly become a mainstream idea, and dental professionals around the world are dedicating countless hours to developing new techniques and methods in the field. In a free Dental Tribune Study Club webinar on Monday, June 24, an expert will be discussing a new approach to enhancing the periimplant soft tissue in the anterior zone.
Webinar host Dr. Victor Clavijo believes soft-tissue management surrounding implants is a difficult task and that strategies should be standardized and include a strict protocol in order to avoid bone loss and recession. In the webinar, Clavijo will present a new and innovative approach toward achieving excellent results in both esthetics and biology.
Clavijo graduated with a degree in dentistry from the Paulista University, Brazil. He specialized in restorative dentistry at the Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (UNESP) and in implant dentistry at the Senac university in São Paulo, Brazil. He earned a master’s degree and a PhD from Araraquara Dental School, UNESP.
The 1-hour webinar, titled “A new approach to enhancing the peri-implant soft tissue in the anterior zone”, will be broadcast live on Monday, June 24, at 1 p.m. EST. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.
