W&H Ibérica celebrates 20-year anniversary at EXPODENTAL

MADRID, Spain: With the largest stand ever, plenty of innovations, giveaways and surprises, W&H is launching a number of festivities for the 20th anniversary of its Spain and Portugal office at EXPODENTAL in Madrid. As part of the celebrations, the whole W&H Ibérica team has been involved in putting together a specially designed anniversary product catalogue, in which they have shared their own first-hand experiences of life in the company.

A brainchild of Peter Malata, Managing Director of the W&H Group, and Rudolf Flieger, then W&H Ibérica’s general manager, who teamed up with Angela Paredes, W&H Ibérica’s current general manager, the business was launched in Valencia in Spain in 1998. The official slogan for the anniversary celebrations is #20años20éxitos [#20years20successes], intended to highlight that W&H has always been and will always be at the cutting edge of innovation, according to the company. For over 20 years, W&H Ibérica and its 18 staff have been providing daily consultation and technical assistance with W&H products. Together with their sales network of five business representatives, the sales coordinator for Spain and Portugal, and a vast network of distributors, the team works hard to ensure all of their customers are provided with excellent service, W&H Ibérica said.

W&H has grown steadily and impressively over the last 20 years, with W&H Ibérica also having been a member of the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies since it was founded, which vouches for the quality of its products and practices. According to the company, the secret of this longevity has been working hard every day, continuously looking for areas to improve, and the unique combination of W&H products and services. In particular, W&H Ibérica’s fully personalised technical assistance and post-sales service, involving detailed diagnostics and thereby giving its products an impressive lifespan, have contributed significantly to its position as a market leader, the company said.

According to W&H, EXPODENTAL attendees can try out the all-new Implantmed with wireless foot control and Osstell ISQ module for measuring implant stability, which both come with a two-year guarantee. Another device on display at the stand is the Assistina TWIN reprocessing device, which can lubricate instruments in just 10 seconds. More of W&H’s products are being presented in what the company said is the perfect environment for testing and comparing new technologies and applications. These include its best-selling sterilisation device, the Class B Lina steriliser with data recording, made in Austria quality turbine handpieces, and contra-angle handpieces for restoration and prosthetics under the Synea Vision brand, as well as the ultrasonic Piezomed motor for surgery and implantology. The W&H team is on-site to help and answer any questions.
