Gluma® Desensitizer PowerGel: A Hygienist’s New Best Friend

Gluma® Desensitizer PowerGel’s fast and effective desensitizing activity helps hygienists keep patients comfortable during prophy visits, and helps patients stay comfortable, lasting 6-9 months on erosion and recession, getting the patient from prophy to prophy and potentially eliminating the need for at-home treatment.

Building on the reputation of its predecessor, Gluma® Desensitizer, which has been working to eliminate or prevent postoperative hypersensitivity for the last 20 years, Gluma® Desensitizer PowerGel can also be used by dentists and assistants under crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers, temporaries, and all direct restorations. It delivers the same level of comfort, efficacy, and desensitization as Gluma® Desensitizer, with the added benefits of better handling, easier control, and greater accuracy during application. Its unique gel consistency and green-color indicator also allow the practitioner to see exactly where the material is being placed and rinse-clean capability.

In addition, it can be used with all bonding and restorative materials, in any situation. Like Gluma® Desensitizer, it works quickly, helping to calm fearful patients.
