CHARLOTTE, N.C., US: Planmeca and KaVo Dental North America recently held a grand opening to launch their joint North American headquarters in Charlotte. The facility brings together Planmeca USA, a leading provider of dental equipment and technology, and KaVo Dental North America, a well-known manufacturer of dental handpieces and equipment. It will serve as a strategic base for both companies, from which they will be able to support North American partners and clinical users by providing high-quality products, reinforcing their shared commitment to innovation and the ongoing advancement of dental care.

Among the facilities is a showroom that highlights advanced dental technology across both portfolios, offering solutions spanning operatory equipment, imaging, sterilisation and handpiece innovations. The headquarters also offer dedicated training spaces for clinical education and technical support, underscoring both companies’ commitment to dealers and end users. The Charlotte location will serve as a hub for continuing education, hands-on training and dealer engagement.

The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by key team members from both companies, including Tomi Kyöstilä and Jukka Kanerva from Planmeca’s executive committee and Jan Moed, KaVo Dental’s chief commercial officer.
