DUBAI, UAE: Dubai Dental Week, originally scheduled to take place from 16 to 21 January 2027, has been postponed to 2028. The organisers said that strong interest from across the oral healthcare community had reinforced the need for a launch edition of appropriate scale. The revised timeline will allow for the necessary planning, coordination and stakeholder participation, reflecting the organisers’ commitment to delivering a launch edition that meets the expectations of exhibitors, partners and delegates.
The official announcement of Dubai Dental Week was made during the 30th edition of AEEDC Dubai, where the event was introduced as a new platform designed to bring together education, innovation, business and networking across the dental industry. According to the organisers, the initiative has received a positive response from oral healthcare professionals, industry leaders and strategic partners, reinforcing confidence in its long-term potential.
In light of this response, the organisers said that they want to ensure that the inaugural edition delivers the level of impact, participation and value envisioned. They have therefore allocated additional time for planning and coordination. The decision has been influenced by logistical challenges and scheduling constraints affecting several key stakeholders, and recent regional developments have added further complexity to organisation.
The organisers believe that postponing the event is the most prudent course of action and will help ensure the strongest possible début for Dubai Dental Week. The new dates for Dubai Dental Week 2028, together with the corresponding dates for AEEDC Dubai 2028, will be announced in due course. Updated marketing materials, website information, sponsorship packages and partnership opportunities are expected to be available by the end of September 2027, providing exhibitors and partners with sufficient time to prepare.
Meanwhile, AEEDC Dubai 2027 will proceed as planned from 19 to 21 January 2027. The organisers have reaffirmed their commitment to delivering another successful edition of this major international scientific dental conference and exhibition and will continue preparations for the inaugural Dubai Dental Week. They have also thanked partners and stakeholders for their continued support and encouraged anyone with questions about the revised timeline to contact the organising team through the event website.
