JAKARTA, Indonesia: The highly anticipated 2025 Indonesia Dental Exhibition and Conference (IDEC) is less than six months away, and enthusiasm continues to grow among participants and visitors. As the country’s largest dental industry event, IDEC serves as a key platform to strengthen Indonesia’s dental health resilience and drive transformation. Now in its fourth edition, IDEC will return to the Jakarta International Convention Center from 14 to 16 November.
IDEC 2025 is being jointly organised by Traya Eksibisi Internasional and Koelnmesse in close cooperation with the Indonesian Dental Association. The event will feature a diverse programme of engaging activities, expert-led talks and interactive demonstrations. Under the theme “The Transformation of Dental Health Resiliency”, the event is expected to welcome over 250 local and international brands, showcasing a wide array of products and cutting-edge technologies, including digital imaging, CAD/CAM systems and artificial intelligence-based solutions. Over 5,000 visitors are expected, including general dentists, specialists, distributors, manufacturers and students.
The exhibition will span 6,000 m2, and according to the organisers, over 80% of the space has already been sold. Exhibitors include leading local and international brands from countries such as China, Germany, South Korea and Turkey. Notable returning exhibitors include Bintang Saudara, Cobra Dental, Dental Jaya, J. Morita Indonesia, Labora and Mandala Mitratama, alongside global brands such as Bryant Dental, Erkodent and Planmeca.
“The transformation of dental health resilience requires a holistic commitment to building a more robust and inclusive health system,” Dr Usman Sumantri, chairman of the Indonesian Dental Association, said in a press release. “This means investing in long-term prevention, education and equitable access to quality dental care. IDEC acts as a vital platform for stakeholders to enhance ecosystem resilience through cross-sector collaboration and advanced technologies while also serving as a catalyst for the growth and development of Indonesia’s dental profession,” he continued.
“The progress is promising,” noted Dr Himawan Halim, chairman of IDEC 2025. “We are seeing strong enthusiasm from exhibitors eager to present advancements in dental technology, digital innovations, artificial intelligence and integrated dental care systems. IDEC 2025 will be a robust platform facilitating strategic connections between brands and key decision makers,” he explained.

We are committed to curating a dynamic, interactive environment that fosters meaningful connections among exhibitors, visitors and experts. This year, we are placing special emphasis on increasing international participation, expanding the venue and building broader partnerships. IDEC is fast becoming the premier event for Indonesia’s dental industry, spurring both business growth and knowledge exchange.”
In addition to the exhibition, IDEC 2025 will host a scientific conference featuring prominent local and international speakers, who will address current topics in dentistry. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on training sessions, gaining practical experience and direct interaction with industry experts.
The Jakarta International Convention Center is regarded as Indonesia’s leading event centre. The world-class venue offers a fresh, welcoming environment, combining comfort and hospitality to accommodate the global dental health community.
