The exhibition highlights the global diversity of the dental industry through 12 national and regional pavilions, including Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, the UK and the US. This year also marks the return of the UK pavilion, alongside a strong contingent of new participants across the exhibition. The more than 40 first-time exhibitors add fresh momentum and diversity to the event.
“IDEM has long been one of the most influential platforms for the dental community in Asia,” said Liew Chai Yieng, marketing manager at Osstem Singapore. “For us, IDEM 2026 is a strategic opportunity to present our latest innovations, connect directly with dental professionals and deepen long-term partnerships in a fast-changing market,” she stated.
Scientific programme: Focus on digital and sustainable practice
The scientific conference features three parallel tracks across all three days, comprising 42 sessions led by 36 speakers. Topics include digital dentistry, periodontal regenerative therapies, CBCT in endodontics, pain management and aesthetic dentistry.
Designed to provide both theoretical insight and practical application, the programme offers delegates opportunities to enhance their clinical skills and expand their expertise across multiple disciplines. Speakers such as Drs Anthony Mak, Christopher Ho, Henry Kwek, Jeyavel Rajan, Leon Chen and Taisuke Tsukiboshi are presenting clinical perspectives and approaches to digital and patient-centred care. The Dental Hygienist and Therapist Forum has returned for its sixth edition, offering a dedicated two-day programme focused on professional development and interdisciplinary exchange.
“At its core, the scientific conference is about empowering dental professionals to run smarter, more efficient and future-ready practices,” said Dr Kelvin Chye, chairperson of IDEM 2026 and vice-president of the Singapore Dental Association. This year’s conference dives deep into key topics, including digital workflows and emerging innovations in clinical care, and brings together clinicians from key dental markets, he continued. “We are proud to welcome representatives from 12 national dental associations, alongside strong participation from leading markets such as Indonesia, Australia, the Philippines and Malaysia,” he emphasised.
SDA masterclasses: Hands-on learning and clinical application
In addition to the main conference, the SDA Masterclass programme offers hands-on learning opportunities in digital dentistry, prosthodontics and restorative techniques. Sessions focus on the integration of digital tools into everyday workflows and cover dental photography, videography and artificial intelligence-assisted smile design, as well as a range of clinical applications, including veneers, crowns and implant rehabilitation.
Among the programme highlights is a two-day masterclass and workshop led by Dr Anas Aloum in which participants will apply advanced techniques in a clinical context. Dr Pokpong Amornvit’s masterclass on digital full-mouth rehabilitation will show how minimal-preparation zirconia restorations can be used to manage severe tooth wear, covering the full workflow, including digital planning, and the clinical considerations that support long-term success.
IDEMclub and IDEM360+: Buyer engagement and visitor planning
This year marks the introduction of IDEMclub, a new programme designed for dental buyers and decision-makers. The initiative offers curated networking opportunities, targeted business interactions and additional support to facilitate connections with exhibitors throughout the event.
Attendees can also arrange meetings directly through the IDEM360+ app. The platform complements the on-site experience by providing access to the full conference programme, as well as tools for personalised scheduling and venue navigation. Users can also access additional digital content, including webinars.
An interactive sticker collection activity is further encouraging engagement across the exhibition floor and helping visitors discover new products and technologies. Each day, participants are invited to visit selected exhibitor booths to collect six stickers, which they can redeem for an IDEM gift.
