NEW YORK, U.S.: In an upcoming, free Dental Tribune Study Club webinar on Wednesday, Feb. 27, an expert will be introducing Ultaire AKP removable partial dentures (RPDs). As part of the webinar, areas such as design procedures and case selection will be discussed, and a full overview, from scan to fit, will be given.
Dental technician and webinar host Jonathan Hughes will be giving the presentation on Ultaire AKP RPDs. In addition to a full overview from scan to fit, Hughes will introduce Ultaire AKP as a material, introduce a case selection using this material and increase awareness of nonmetal RPD solutions. He will also explain how to start prescribing Ultaire AKP.
Hughes completed his dental technician studies in 1998, going on to study clinical dental technology and receiving his diploma in 2011. In 2005, Hughes opened his own dental laboratory, moving into new premises in 2018, where all services are offered, including the latest in CAD/CAM technology. His laboratory has won the prestigious Best Prosthetic Laboratory award in the U.K. for the last two years.
The 1-hour webinar, titled “Ultaire AKP RPDs: A paradigm-shifting high-performance polymer for your patients and practice,” will be broadcast live on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m.EDT. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.
