VDW celebrates 150 years in endodontics

Originally founded in Munich, VDW has always been a pioneer of root canal therapy. An important milestone was reached in 1972 when three German companies—ANTÆOS, Beutelrock and Zipperer—merged into Vereinigte Dentalwerke, to form VDW as they are still known today. A quick expansion of its global market positioning as well as ground-breaking product innovations paved the way for further growth, with VDW soon becoming one of the leading endodontic brands worldwide.

The VDW headquarters and its high-tech production facilities are still based in Munich today and deliver over 200 products to more than 80 countries worldwide. VDW produces a complete endo-system for the entire treatment process—with interlinked products and services—enabling dentists to benefit even more from VDW’s profound endodontic expertise.
