MADRID, Spain: DS World Madrid, the two-day Iberian celebration of dentistry, is back for another year, exploring the future of digitalisation, digital workflows, customer experience and clinic and laboratory management. Taking place on 22 to 23 September at Hotel Eurostars Tower de Madrid, the conference supports dental professionals in taking their next step on the path to practice digitalisation, showcasing solutions and providing insights in both practice efficiency and patient care across all stages of treatment.
The plenary session proved once again to be an exceptional event at DS World Madrid, highlighting the latest topics in dentistry. Moderated by Dr Miguel Roig and renowned Spanish journalist Mara Torres, the session took attendees on an inspiring journey through a complete digital dental workflow with the patient as the protagonist. From diagnosis and planning to different treatment possibilities and the final restoration, speakers considered how digital tools and solutions can be used to create a seamless and integrated workflow and to deliver a great patient experience from start to finish. The plenary session ended with a thought-provoking discussion with world-renowned hacker and digital security expert, Chema Alonso, chief digital officer at Telefónica.

Attendees in Madrid are encouraged to design their own educational experience by hopping comfortably between four themed conference rooms that addressed the ways in which digital technologies have changed diagnostics, planning and treatment, final restorations, and clinic and laboratory management. There are also a number of demonstrations of new and established digital tools and products made by Dentsply Sirona, including SureSmile, DS Core, Primeprint and Primescan Connect.
Xavier Carro Fernández, leader of orthodontic aligner solutions for EMEA and vice president of Dentsply Sirona Iberia, said: “DS World Madrid is back and better than ever for 2023.” He added: “With world-class speakers and sessions covering nearly every area of dentistry, attendees can build their own unique programme that perfectly suits their needs and interests.”
DS Madrid 2023 is the fourth DS World event to have been held in the city.
