Prioritising clinical education, Dentsply Sirona, a global dental industry leader, continues its commitment to empowering dental professionals. In its ongoing effort to enhance patient care, the company has recently introduced “Just in!”, a growing library of high-quality online clinical education content. Accessible 24/7 and free of charge, this resource promises to strengthen professional development.

Among the other trending topics it covers, the new “Just in!” section includes a series of online lectures on orthodontics, aligner dentistry and digital workflows. For example, registered members of the Dentsply Sirona Academy Campus can learn more about effective treatment sequencing and how to integrate aligner therapy with restorative, cosmetic, surgical and implant procedures. In a lecture titled “Integrating clear aligners into the digital restorative practice”, Dr Jeffrey Rohde, who runs an innovative restorative and surgical practice in the US, explains this in detail.

In another lecture, titled “Utilizing clear aligners and CAD/CAM for long lasting, optimal sized smile design restorations”, Dr Vishal Sharma, clinical director of two large clinics in Canada, at which he utilises advanced technology to help facilitate a more predictable treatment outcome, explores the synergy of clear aligner therapy and CAD/CAM for balanced articulation and optimal aesthetic restorations.

Dr Megan Weisenberger is an expert in 3D radiographic imaging and CEREC technologies as well as efficient digital workflows. In her lecture, titled “Why SureSmile, why now?”, she informs dental professionals of the benefits of SureSmile aligners, such as fewer refinements, predictable results and increased patient satisfaction.

Furthermore, Dr Tyler Rathburn, an orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics practitioner, gives a lecture titled “Tooth movement with clear aligners—improving outcomes”. Providing insights on the basics of aligner therapy, he describes how dentists can meet rising patient demand for aesthetic orthodontic treatment quickly and efficiently.
