On the opening day of the event, Osstem will support the “My first implant” workshop, which is being organised by the EAO Junior Committee and will combine theoretical lectures with hands-on training. During the workshop, Greek dentist Dr Marianzela Alexopoulou, who is an adviser to the EAO Junior Committee, will impart her expertise on utilising Osstem’s innovative 122 Taper Kit. Uniquely, the 122 Taper Kit allows for osteotomy preparation with a single drilling in soft bone, a single drilling in normal bone and two drillings in hard bone, after use of the guide drill.

Osstem will host an industry forum on 25 October, chaired by Dr Marco Esposito from Italy, at which Dr Darko Božić from Croatia, Dr Leonardo Muzzi and Dr Fulvio Gatti, both from Italy, will speak, addressing methods to enhance osseointegration. Commenting on the forum’s value to attendees, Lee Jin-Moo, executive director and head of Osstem Implant Europe, said: “At the industry forum, Osstem, alongside esteemed lecturers with extensive clinical experience, will confidently showcase its latest patient-centred technologies, including the OneGuide Kit and the next-generation surface technology SOI, both designed to enhance osseointegration, facilitate rapid recovery and ensure a healthy smile.”

On the final day of the joint meeting, Dr Marco Tallarico from Italy will deliver an industry hands-on lecture on the implant placement and prosthetic workflow using the OneGuide Kit for addressing complex clinical cases, such as aesthetic treatments and full-arch restorations, with high precision.
