ST JULIAN’S, Malta: Owing to the current travel restrictions in Europe and worldwide, the European Aligner Society (EAS) has postponed its third congress, originally scheduled for March, to 7–9 October 2021. However, the event will still be held in Malta, and EAS hopes that the congress will still be opened by the Maltese deputy prime minister and minister of health.

The programme of engaging presentations by international expert speakers will build on the knowledge from EAS’s previous events and will explore the latest technological advances in aligner orthodontics. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose from an offering of plenary lectures, breakout sessions and workshops, allowing them to learn more about the subjects that interest them the most.

New registrations for the EAS congress will open on 1 July. Those already registered for the original March 2021 dates will not need to make any changes to their registrations, and those wishing to sign up can do so on the congress website. Furthermore, the congress organisers have partnered with Air Malta to ensure that reasonable travel rates are available for all attendees.

More information about the event can be found here.
