On Friday, 28 February, the host of a free Ivoclar Vivadent webinar Dr Andrea Shepperson will be walking participants through all aspects of injectable composite resin veneers, including case selection, materials, techniques and finishing.

In the webinar, Shepperson will provide conservative options that practitioners can offer to patients who might not be suitable for enamel removal owing to their age, or to those who desire a more conservative result. Participants will learn how to select suitable cases and evaluate tooth position; how to use digital technology to design and visualise an end result; and how to finish, polish and review occlusion to ensure longevity.

Shepperson graduated from the University of Otago in 1984 and currently practises in Auckland in New Zealand. She is one of Australasia’s best-known speakers, a digital smile design instructor, a key opinion leader for Ivoclar Vivadent, and a graduate and mentor of the Kois Center in Seattle in the US. Her practice is focused on digital dentistry and the restoration of worn dentition. Shepperson has been a co-contributor to Practical Procedures in Aesthetic Dentistry and has spoken internationally for over 20 years. She acts as a consultant and mentor to young clinicians throughout New Zealand and Australia.

The 1-hour webinar, titled “The A–Z of injectable resin veneers”, will be broadcast live on Friday, 28 February, at 6 a.m. CET. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.

Dental professionals who are interested in attending the course may register online here.
