CHICAGO & WASHINGTON, USA: Igår meddelade Henk van Duijnhoven att KaVo Kerr Group hade skapats. Van Duijnhoven är vice VD i Danaher Corp., ett paraplyföretag som omfattar firmor från olika branscher. Gruppen enar ledande dentalföretag för förbrukningsvaror, utrustning, högteknologi och specialprodukter under ett tak.

"Att KaVo Kerr Group har skapats gör det möjligt för oss att bättre serva tandvårdsexperter och hälsoföretag som köper in många olika sorters produkter och märken", sa van Duijnhoven.

Grupperna är KaVo, Kerr, Kerr TotalCare, Pentron, Axis, SybronEndo, Orascoptic, Pelton & Crane, Marus, DCI Equipment, Gendex, DEXIS, Instrumentarium Dental, SOREDEX, i-CAT, NOMAD, Implant Direct och Ormco. Deras tjänster och produkter riktar sig främst till allmänpraktiker, tandvårdsspecialister, hygienister, institutioner och kunder på specialmarknader på praktiskt taget alla dentalmarknader i världen, däribland Nordamerika, Latinamerika, Europa, Mellanöstern och Stilla havsregionen.

Ledningen för Danaher förkunnade att varje företag kommer att fortsätta att säljas under sitt nuvarande märkesnamn till lokala kunder och enskilda marknader.

Enligt Matt Garrett, vice VD för försäljning på KaVo Kerr Group, kommer de under årets Dental Society Midwinter Meeting i Chicago att presentera 20 nya produkter för att fira grundandet. Denna träff håller på till i morgon.
